A successful 3 year run with Hayashi included live performances for BBC Radio, performances at Leeds Festival, support slots for Pendulum, Skream and Prime Cuts and culminated with the release of the album 'Bad Machine'. In 2010, however, it was time to move on to fulfill an artistic mission of becoming a unique talent in the UK music scene as not only a singer but as a musician, songwriter, performer and producer. A move to London and a focus on developing solo material is allowing this mission to be fulfilled in steps.
With her solo tracks receiving radio play from DJs such as Mary Anne Hobbs, BBC Radio 1's Rob da Bank, BBC6's Tom Robinson and having appeared on the same bill as the likes of Zero 7, Jon Kennedy, My Nu Leng, Karma Kid and Celt Islam, the future is looking bright for Mwen.
