MUTT | EP | 2015 |
Think Sonic Youth and L7 meets the LOUDquietLOUDquiet pop spunk of Pixies with a twist of The Cure.
Hailing from Birmingham and formed in 2014, the feisty four-piece MUTT twist their influences beyond recognition to create a unique brand of uncompromising, unapologetic Noise.
Over the past three years, MUTT have become a fixture of the West Midlands scene, regularly playing with likes of Tigercub, Barb Wire Dolls, Allusondrugs, Dune Rats, September Girls and Best Friends as they pass through town. Outside of the Midlands, MUTT have an ever-growing following and are frequent visitors to London and other UK cities including Sheffield and Nottingham. MUTT have also played a handful of small festivals, featuring alongside bands such as InMe, Slaves, God Damn and many more.
MUTT released their self-titled debut EP in May 2015 and followed this up a year later, in May 2016, with the Ferus/Neighbourhood double A-side. Both releases have received overwhelmingly positive reviews are available from most download stores and also in physical form. Neighbourhood is the subject of MUTT’s first music video.
