Everything happened quietly and calmly, far from the noise , knowing the true value of independance and it´s margins of freedom. Without taking sides- to the contrary, "Congo Square", his latest album, is a step forward in his natural evolution, his particular quiet revolution.
The last album "Congo Square" is an open space, a collage of suggestions based on minimalist nods, elements of hip hop, post rock reminiscents, cut'n'paste, electronica, folk, dub and the light of the sea.
After winning the latest edition of the prestigious competition, "Villa de Bilbao 26 (new tendencies)," Calderón and his Komite of musicians Jaime Fernandez (guitars), Esteban Perles (percussion), and Alex Ahumada (stand up bass), accompanied by a tight and eloquent visual set solidifies them as one of the most interesting live acts in the national panorama.

Desde el sur de España, Francisco Calderón “Calde”- productor, visual artist, Dj y por supuesto músico y fundador de Music Komite- ha terminado por convertirse en una de las figuras mas interesantes de la inquieta escena andaluza.Todo ello a paso tranquilo, ajeno al ruido, sabedor del valor genuino de la independencia y de sus márgenes de libertad, de su valor como un fin en si mismo.
Tras un 2014 espectacular que le ha llevado a ganar el Concurso Villa de Bilbao 26 en el apartado de nuevas tendencias, en dirección a un prometedor 2015 con nuevo disco "Congo Square" (Discontinu records 2015), collage de sugerencias a base de guiños minimalistas, elementos del hip hop, reminiscencias post-rock, cut’n’paste, electronica, folk, dub y luz de mar.
