With a passion for reading, writing and poetry and his experiences of growing up in inner city Birmingham Mr Macee quickly started putting his lyrics to beats. His performance experience to date has seen him perform on the same lineup as several different artist such as Angel, Fuse ODG, Mo Stack, Paigey Cakey and Sir Freddie McGregor. His first release attracted radio 1Xtra's shows and was played by Charlie sloth and mistaJam. He then went on to release two songs “Doing Me” & “Real G” that has seen him become the only artist nominated in two categories for The British Unsigned Music Awards 2017. Best Unsigned Male and the other Best Unsigned Song. 2018 saw Mr Macee release several singles all with support from BBC Radio WM and other local radio stations.
