Moving Moscow arrived on the music scene in style in late 2013.

A clever slow reveal of the band and its members on social media and the local press captivated hundreds of music lovers in Cheshire and Staffordshire. (More on that here: http://www.sjncheshirephotography.co.uk/blog/music-photography-moving-moscow-promo/)

Since then the band have been building up an arsenal of songs that combine crisp, tight, choppy rhythms with catchy pop choruses and pristine vocals. Perhaps it is no surprise the band is difficult to categorise with its members inspired by the polished rock sounds of 30 Seconds to Mars and Paramore, the dance rhythms of Bloc Party and the hard-riffing likes of Biffy Clyro and Foo Fighters.

Their songs maintain a certain maturity without neglecting the killer choruses which keep their fans wanting more.

Members Dan Parry, Simon Halewood, Steve Foster, Jazz Sladen, Dean Banks and Jamie Oliver have gigged in Manchester, Cheshire and the East Midlands over the past few months, releasing two singles in the process.

Wave on Wave, released June 1st, has been hugely popular on BBC Introducing shows across the East Midlands, Staffordshire/Cheshire and in Wiltshire. This was followed by a second single A Shape has a Concept, on October 11th, displaying a more alternative side to the band.

Members of Moving Moscow have enjoyed moderate success in their previous groups, supporting the likes of Ash, Feeder and McFly. So they are no strangers to big stages. And with their pure professionalism and stage presence added to the mix, here is a band ready to bring the house down.
