Monkhood is a Scottish rock band formed in Glasgow in 2014.

It was founded by Nacho Puglisi, and also consists of Ryan Hagney, Martin Banaby and Alex Perrenoud. The band’s name reflects the concept of isolation within a community.

Having been inspired by artists such as Foo Fighters and Nirvana among others, Monkhood contacted the Argentinean music producer Mauro Saldaño and began work on a seven-track EP “Isolation” in March 2016 at Glasgow 7 West Studios.

Monkhood’s debut EP contains 7 tracks in genres ranging from Grunge and Punk Rock to Pop and Rock Ballads. “Isolation” is already available on all music platforms such as Spotify, Itunes, Apple Music, Google Play among others.
