Moving to the UK to study Music Composition and Technology at the University of Hertfordshire gave him room to play with intricate lines and explore modern voices, to create the unique sound of Midnight Ambassador today.


André's picked up little influences from everywhere-- from his moves from Portugal, Hungary and now to England, and artists ranging from Childish Gambino, Glass Animals and Alt-J. His upcoming EP, Fragile Igloo, is his most personal yet, each song a chapter of his difficult move to London and his struggle to finally build a home there.


His music has already seen international success with heavy rotation on US internet radio, recent showcases at indieweek UK, Canadian Music Week 2019, and Camden Rocks presents. Midnight Ambassador has been featured by Radio DJ Gurus like Alan Cross (Canada) and Marco Collins (U.S.), as well as reaching number 4 in national radio listener charts back home in Portugal.
