Welcome to the profile of MetalGate Productions & Records, indie Czech metal production agency and label.
Established in June 2008, MetalGate began as a midsized festival project focused on the heavy metal genre, with the intention of filling the gap between small gigs and large festivals of this genre in the Czech Republic.
Shortly thereafter, we added club shows to the portfolio of our activities, and while our shows serve mainly to support the local Czech metal bands, we had the pleasure of working with notable metal bands from abroad, such as ROTTING CHRIST, SAMAEL, DARK TRANQUILLITY, SEPTICFLESH, GORGOROTH, VOMITORY, BELPHEGOR, WATAIN, ORANSSI PAZUZU, CARACH ANGREN, RAVENCULT, VARATHRON, DEAD CONGREGATION and others.
From the onset, MetalGate also organizes a summer open air festival, formerly MetalGate OpenAir, now METALGATE CZECH DEATH FEST.
In another capacity, we also function as a label, as well as operate our own recording studio (see links for details).
