That’s how the US indie blog Earmilk described Masasolo’s debut single “Really Thought She Loved Me”. A single that spread fast and reached all sorts of corners of the internet. Besides Earmilk, well-known blogs as Hillydilly and Indie Shuffle all promoted the track, it was charting on Hype Machine and soon Roskilde Festival picked up on it and booked them for this summer's festival.
Some have compared their guitar-driven indie with the likes of Tame Impala and Mac Demarco, and they definitely have similar 70s influences, their songs ranging from heartbreaking indie ballads to hard-hitting guitar solos.
Their debut EP “Break Up”, which was released this fall, consists of honest stories from lead singer Morten Søgaards own experiences of entering adulthood while overcoming a lost love. Where you’re forced to confront the mixed feelings of lost youth and reevaluate the dream of the great love.
Debut album planned for 2017
