Hailing from Enschede, The Netherlands, Mandrake’s Monster combines rock with mysterious and dark elements, inspired by the likes of Queens of the Stone Age, Foo Fighters and Arctic Monkeys.
Five friends touring across Europe in an old camper van; that’s how the story began 3 years ago. Meanwhile the band has played over 150 shows, including international DIY tours, festivals and showcases such as “The Global Rock Summit” in LA (US), “When Copenhell Freezes over” in Copenhagen (DK), and Eurosonic/Noorderslag in The Netherlands. They’ve shared the stage with artists such as Shinedown (US), De Staat (NL), Kensington (NL), RED (US), John Coffey (NL) and H-Blockx (GER).
This November, the band will be the after show act for the Red Hot Chili Peppers twice in Amsterdam. With their new material, recorded recently at AIR studios in London, the band is ready for some major action in 2017.
