The singer, songwriter, producer and performer has been making her unique blend of House, Techno, RnB and Trip hop for years, headlining shows from Shanghai to Nigeria and capturing audiences on international stages including Berghain Halle, Melt Festival, Glastonbury and London Notting Hill Carnival.

It began with a move to Berlin, touched by the nightlife and the artistic community, MAMA was writing constantly. Friendships ignited on dance floors would build over days collaborating in the studio or fuel her solo ideas. This long list of new connections sparked the creation of an album by Argy & MAMA “Dominonation” released on Ellen Allien’s Bpitch control, as well as a stream of tracks with Tiefschwarz, Catz & Dogz, Emanuel Satie, Hannah Holland and more. These in turn inspired remixes from Solomon, who’s version of “Corporate Butcher” remained top of the charts for weeks, Hot Since 82 who flipped “Recluse” creating another chart hanger, Paul Kalkbrenner, Kele Okereke, Pan Pot, Life & Death, Rampa, Alan Fitzpatrick, and Jay Haze.

Across one bitter Berlin winter, MAMA recorded her debut solo album “Dreams of Liberty”. Its dark, seductive songs reflect on her search for freedom and form a deep and shadowy journey into MAMA’s personal fears, obsessions and triumphs in the city.

Today, after more than 30 releases MAMA has returned to London to reconnect with her roots and awaken new ideas. Her upcoming solo EP “Unmask Me” is set to drop on Hannah Holland’s Batty Bass Records Summer 2017 and features remixes from X-press 2’s Ashley Beedle.

MAMA’s second solo album is due for release in Autumn 2017. Once again her captivating vocals share intimate messages across a spectrum of sound. Co-produced with Douglas Greed, it draws from MAMA’s diverse influences and ranges from from deep house to electronic soul with eerie pop sensibilities.

On stage MAMA brings it all together dripping with sophisticated sensuality. Performing with Black Loop’s Ricardo Paffetti her tracks come to life in their scorching, danceable manner. She’s been called up to join forces with Beats by Dre for the ‘Games before the Game’ World Cup German special, opened for Kele’s (Bloc party Frontman) European tour and headlined all over the world.
