Larry is a phenomenal violinist who somehow fuses Irish, jazzy and classical influences, and Jackie is an inspirational contemporary singer songwriter with a versatile voice. Malarkie formed 3yrs ago. We play lively acoustic music, with an international feel - mostly our own catchy songs with a sprinkle of covers. A few mellow songs add an extra dimension to our repertoire, and Larry's violin soars.
We are well known in Leamington/Coventry having had many local gigs such as at The Royal Oak, The Wild Boar, the Somerville, the Cape, The Grand Union. We have played several festivals like the Mary Arden and the Cheese and Pickle festivals near Stratford and on the Leamington bandstand last summer, providing feisty festy feel - good sounds everyone can enjoy!You are welcome to listen to our music on Youtube:
