Last year they completed a short self funded tour around the UK, playing headline and support shows in Camden town's 'Our Black Heart' to Liverpool's 'Arts Club', as well as Manchesters 'Night and Day cafe' alongside bands such as Sisteray, Someone Anyone, Polar States, Mint, Jekyll and Shy Billy. This tour was accompanied with the release of their debut single, 'Lemonade' and tour dates are lined up and the studio for next year. For 2019, the band already has a long list of dates and cities to play around the UK, as well as festival slots lined up for the summer. Since the band embarked on their journey, it is safe to say they have established a strong presence in the British music scene and hope to establish their name more prominently in the year to come. To the people that know them best: Mal Hijo are a rogue musical highway patrol team from Denver, Michigan, Colarado. Bakers, shakers, love makers, who go by the name, Mal Hijo.
