Lyndon Lewis is a DJ, radio host, sound artist, and promoter from Manchester who has been based in Berlin for the last 5 years.

As a DJ, Lewis has 2 distinct sound palettes which he draws from depending on the situation. Both sound palettes are incredibly broad, flexible and constantly evolving.

When DJing in clubs, his approach is heavily influenced by the UK’s rich history of dance music, drawing inspiration from the role soundsystem culture has played in shaping UK club music. Lewis also runs his own party, Trip the Light, which primarily focuses on this side of his sound palette.

Away from the club, Lewis explores the styles of music that he is often listening to at home. Particular styles that he plays include: Jazz, Funk, Soul, Blues, Rock, Dub, Roots Reggae, Latin music - particularly Brazilian - and music from all over Africa. He also has a radio show on Refuge Worldwide called Anything Goes, which he uses as a platform for this side of his musical interests.
