Formed in 2012, having met through performing in the UK's top touring theatre show, Country Legends, the pair combine haunting harmonies and fine musicianship creating a sound that is both unique and authentic. Luke & Mel were quickly recognised by the British Country Music Awards (BCMA) when they picked up the award for Horizon Act of the Year 2013.

In March 2014 Luke & Mel were invited to perform on the Pop Up stages at the prestigious Country 2 Country event at the O2 Arena, London where stars like Brad Paisley, The Dixie Chicks, Martina McBride, Dierks Bentley, and Rascall Flatts were headline acts.

In July and August 2014 they supported CMA and Grammy nominee, James House on his sold out 2014 UK tour and have been booked to support on his 2015 tour.

After winning at the 2013 BCMA's, Luke & Mel were invited back to perform at the 2014 BCMAwards ceremony along with multi Grammy award winner and Grand Ole Opry star, Steve Wariner. That proved to be a great night for them as they picked up the award for Duo of the Year.
