LOFTAS Art Factory is located in the former legendary electro-technics factory ELFA. Since the middle of the last century, ELFA produced tape recorders for the entire Soviet Union and was even awarded gold medals at international fairs in Paris and Florence.
LOFTAS was founded in 2010 and so continues the unique musical and cultural journey of this extraordinary place. Annually it hosts over 150 different events and is visited by more than 150 000 people. Events include gigs, fashion shows, seminars, film screenings, exhibitions, art performances and even sporting activities. But the main and most important priority is to provide a space suitable for people to go wild in. LOFTAS has become a popular spot for big music shows with international live acts & DJs. But Loftas also introduces many new up & coming bands.
Due to its versatility LOFTAS can be a black cube today and Disneyland tomorrow, which makes it one of those locations you really don't know how to describe. No matter how one would put it, it wouldn’t be saying enough. It's forever in motion, always changing and evolving into the next moment.
