Livia Ferri is an artist in the strict acceptation of the term.

Behind a kind girl, humble, reserved and unobtrusive in the way of being, dressing and behaving, lies an author capable of writing songs and albums with unexpected maturity and depth. Her voice is an unique and distinctive quality, despite her faint and slender aspect she has an incredibly warm tone that, from sweet and emotional nuances, can reach strong and wide dynamics with rock and blues reminiscences that has no comparison with any other current production.
In a period of ultra sophisticated productions or cold and twisty Indie sounds, Livia Ferri offers a visceral music, thought and created in the same way it is often proposed in her live concerts, voice and guitar.
Coupled voice and acoustic guitar are the the natural environment for Livia’s music. Her bodied seductive voice is matched with the strings of a custom handmade guitar.
Livia’s songs are rarely novels, more often descriptions of sensations, confessions and dialogues.
Often the subjects handled are the growth , the becoming adults , the perceiving of choices and emotions to deal with step by step. Mood and words are never mysterious or difficult: idioms and images are simple, direct, very close to everyone’s personal experience.

First of all, Livia is an artist, a musician. Concerts and live activities mostly represent her artistic attitude. This is quite a rare and admirable quality, in a time of productions just made in order to reach targets which are really far from art itself.
