Little India is a band consisting of four friends whose success unfolded unexpectedly after coming together to play music just three years ago.

Their worldly influence is heard through unique hooks and samples, and can be credited to the combination of their South African and Canadian heritages with a strong British influence. In their short yet explosive career, their sound has been described as nostalgic rock with 80’s pop influences. Jon Siddall (CBC Music) explains it as “The Cure meets Talking Heads.” By implementing the perfect harmony of pop rock and electronic sampling, their ever-changing sound keeps listeners on their toes and allows for experimentation in the character of each song, all the while keeping you dancing.

“Neon Jungle” was released November 25th 2013, and was mixed by Vancouver's Ryan Worsley at Echoplant Studio.
Little India has managed to reach over three million total streams on Spotify, performed at numerous festivals including Squamish Fest, Canadian Music Week, Rifflandia, and Keloha, and performed as the support act for established bands like Kodaline and Cold War Kids across Canada’s most prestigious venues. Their song ‘Sleep’ has been spun on U.K.’s BBC Introducing and BC’s The Zone, The Fox, and The Peak while ‘Oola’ has received over 50,432 streams on SoundCloud, followed with a music video released on July 21st, 2015. Their music has allowed them to win both Vancouver's ‘The Shore 104.3 FM’s Best of BC’ and ‘CFOX’s Seeds Competition’ in 2014, as well as ascending into the top 12 of the 2015 "Peak Performance Project" hosted by The Peak 102.7.

Conan Karpinski (lead vocals, guitar), Andrew Dixon (bass, vocals), Dallyn Hunt (drums) and Tim Morrison (guitar, vocals) propelled into 2017 with the release of their latest EP “Neon Jungle” on November 25th, 2016. The title of the record itself even represents juxtaposition: “Neon” representing their growing electronic elements, and “Jungle” representing their raw, vulnerable rock-roots. This EP showcases their progressive sound, and offers an accurate representation of how they have changed as musicians and people over the past three years.
