Hailing from West Sussex, Lem and The White Fire are an exciting new soul pop collective.

The band, fronted by quirky vocal powerhouse Lem Parker, are ready to burst onto the scene and make 2015 their year.

A concept devised by lead singer Lem Parker and co-writer Marcus Crowe, the collective encompasses guitars, drums, piano, trumpets and saxophones to create a rich and infectious sound.

Lem and the White Fire strive to break the music industry organically and have turned down offers from X Factor and Britain’s Got Talent. Lem truly believes that artists can be successful without the need to go on to TV talent shows to attain fame quickly!
In 2015, February – Lem and the White Fire will be releasing their second single ‘Sweet Sound’, recorded and produced by Paul Stanborough whom has worked with numerous world A list artists.

Lem’s vocal has often been compared to artists such as Paloma Faith, Amy Winehouse and Adele, and even though she feels extremely humbled by those comparisons she endeavours to keep her own individuality and quirky sense of humour which is always reflected in her on stage presence and honest attitude.

Represented and Managed by Judd Lander (Lander PR) are one of the most respected music PR companies in the UK whose roster includes the likes of John Lennon, Michael Jackson and The Ramones.

Last summer Lem and the White Fire performed over 40 live dates, became finalists in the MTV Unsigned and have played various sessions for BBC stations such as London, Sussex, Merseyside and Cambridgeshire.

Appraisal:
“Blimey girl, you got lungs, what a voice! Shirley Bassey would be proud!”
Antonia Brickell, BBC Radio Cambridgeshire

"I really love this, great catchy chorus [referring to recent single 'Telephone] Lem Parker - great image with her flaming red hair, she is an effortless and natural singer and an intelligent lyricist. Lem is definitely creating a stir right now."
Claire Martin, BBC Radio 3, British Jazz Singer

"Lem is one of the few remaining veritable artists who has a mission to make music to wake up people's hearts. She has a voice that when I stand in the room with her is sweet, loud and devastatingly appealing. She is a colourful explosion of quirkiness. She is so much more than I am able to write! Just listen, you'll love her." Chip Jenkins - Producer and Vocal Coach
“Theirs is a refreshing sound combined with imagination, individuality and fantastic musicians.” Louise Jackson, Head of Learning enhancement at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance
"Good strong vocal with attitude, reminiscent of Imelda May"
Mark Edwards, BBC Radio Southern Reviewer, Pianist, Producer, Composer
