Lavalier focuses on the author's rock music with electronic elements. Songs (in english and slovak) are about the life around, sometimes on their own experience, but there is also a fiction, an example is the latest song Flashback. It can be understood literally as the feeling of the pilot who’s shot down aircraft falling to the surface of the ocean, or figuratively as the feeling a man who was dashing his world. Guitarist Igor Hudcovský was coincidentally inspired to write the text upon the one computer game, which begins with the fall of the aircraft (in which the hero survives, but only to fall into other deeper problems).
Musically, the Lavalier is inspired by a well known and respected legends, but goes its own way, which has its objective and clearly defined boundaries. Since the founding , band managed to create authorial concert repertoire, shoot four clips, played the a number of concerts throughout Slovakia, Austria, Hungary and the Czech Republic and in autumn 2012 released its first album INTROSPEKTIVA. Band managed to score decently in domestic competitions (Kosice Gold Treasure, Coffebreaks - semifinal) but also at international level (global competition Emergenza - Central European finals), or in competition Radegast Líheň in 2013 (out of 256 bands have finally broken semifinal eights).
At the end of 2013 and beginning of 2014 Lavalier was included in the chart DEMOVNICA (Slovak Radio), in which thanks to the votes of fans endured for 14 weeks (which is still the current record of the chart).
Recently Lavalier is working on a new EP, which will be completed by the end of the summer 2015.
