Her lyrics draw on history, memory, and philosophy, and they sing of a tangled internal world, and the things that keep us up at night—storms and cityscapes, guilt and ghosts.
Born and raised in the blue mountains of Vancouver, Canada, Laura Reznek grew up writing music, and in 2014, she released her debut album, “Who Came Before Us”, produced by Jordan Esau. Shortly afterwards, she set off on a wild tour of North America, the UK, and Europe.
Laura alighted in London in 2015, and spent the last two years there, writing music and learning to tune pianos in a ramshackle piano repair shop in Camden Town. In the spring of this year, she toured around the UK playing violin for Lucy Spraggan.
Laura is currently awaiting the release of her newest EP, 'Now Who Owns The Night' which will be released on her label Terrified Swan Records on November 14th and followed by a tour of Germany, Scandinavia, and the Netherlands.
