Lamont became determined to learn and play the organ when someone told him that playing organ was too hard, and that he would never be able to understand it. Lamont’s only formal music instruction was at John F. Cook elementary, where he played the alto saxophone and learned to read music. It was at the age of 18 when Lamont Bagfeel found his passion for song writing. His initial goal was to become a rapper, and he even released an EP on iTunes entitled “Master Mind”. It was in Lamont’s mid twenties that he decided to start his R&B career. He also learned to play bass guitar, and lead/acoustic guitar. His favorite quote is “ If I do all I can, then God will do the rest”. When asked what does he hope to accomplish, he replied, “I simply want to bring back the true musician”. For those of you who will have the opportunity to experience Lamont’s music, you are most definitely in for a treat.
