There, shared musical inspirations and prolific dissonances gave birth to a common project. Its name - Lamansarda - soon became a paradoxical declaration of intent: the attic's domestic dimension, where music takes its shape, blends with the sounds of faraway places. American folk is the starting point of a research that travels along different paths, where acoustic guitars occasionally meet the violin, glockenspiel and electronica, in order to become something different. The band selfproduced and recorded its first EP at the end of April 2014 and started to perform in May of the same year. Lamansarda is the everyday work of two brothers, Antonio (lyrics, vocals, guitars and keyboards) and Lorenza Acconcio (bass, violin), Fabrizio D'Andrea (acoustic and electric guitars) and Alessandro Bocchetti (drums, percussions).
