Inspired by the new electro-acoustic scene, including the likes of Cinematic Orchestra, Jaga Jazzist, Bonobo, Ibrahim Maalouf and Portico Quartet, Kinkajous alternates powerful drums and mesmerizing sounds with the sensitivity of the clarinet in a unique way.

Their first EP was released in october 2014 with a sold out London show and received support from Gilles Peterson on his Worldwide Show (BBC1 [UK], Radio X [GER], Radio FM4 [GER], InterFM [JAP]) and Lauren Laverne on BBC6 to name a few.

The band features Adrien Cau (clarinet/bass clarinet), Benoît Parmentier (drums/percussions), Layla Kim (synths/piano), Rick Tipton (DJ/sampler) and Richard O’Connor (bass).
