One of the most prolific acts on the circuit…
Kindest of Thieves have matched quantity with impressive quality. Consider the bar firmly raised” – Manchester Evening News.
The North’s Untold Secret
As featured in the MEN Newspaper, the “City Life” supplement and on BBC radio Manchester.
Kindest of Thieves is the name given to the enigmatic songwriter, and one-man rockabilly rock & roll army Christopher J Fox. Kindest of Thieves has traveled the country over and over in its various guises and with a handful of talented musicians along side Fox. 2013 and 2014 saw KOT release an impressive amount of music to a hungry audience.
4 EP’s and 3 singles later, in the last few months of 2014, after over 150 shows that year, major label interest, and upon completing the recording of the debut album alone, KOT retreated from the studio a one man act.
After using 808/909 drum machines and pulsing bass synths in the studio, and pairing this with the slappy splashy guitar sounds and shakey crooning Thieves fans would expect from Fox, an idea was born.
2015 will see this brought to life, on stages and dark corners far and wide, and of course, on the debut Kindest of Thieves album.
Nobody is safe.
