Keto: the hypnotic, lovelorn orchestration of songwriter Leah Sanderson, harks back to the earlier work of Drag City artists' Will Oldham, Bill Callahan and Josephine Foster, whilst offering a fresh and quintessentially English take on millennial folk.

Keto released debut Lo-Fi Folk EP 'What We Do' in May 2016, finding fans in BBC 6Music and BBC Introducing. Opener track ‘Waiting on Dreams’ was played on BBC 6 Music by Tom Robinson while closing track Jackie was recently selected for Fresh on the Net’s Fresh Faves by reviewer Ola who said it was “Personally my favourite track to review this week.“

Keto was asked to play at Glastonbury Festival twice this year on the Croissant Neuf stage following from a run of shows alongside Lower Dens, Black Honey, Eaves, Bob Mould, and even getting the chance to sing with Sun Kil Moon in Hackney. In April Keto supported Aldous Harding in Bristol with a set reviewed favourably: “It's always worth turning up early at a gig, or else you might miss little gems of a performance like this. Her voice is flexible, often swooping dramatically down the scale and with a lovely, reedy vibrato. A really excellent performance.”

Gaining support from Clash Mag, Music For Lunch, John Kennedy, and Drowned in Sound, the latter named Keto a must see act after her performance at Dot to Dot festival. Since then, this summer, the folk outit has played at Y Not Festival and Nozstock festival picking up new fans along the way.

“Haunting slow burners, that reveal themselves to be clear, vivid and disarmingly intimate.” [Just Music I Like]
