Consisting of 2 guitars, drums and bass, they are an indie rock four piece from Newcastle Upon Tyne who take influence from alternative rock, indie pop and post punk.
This summer the band went into the recording studio with producer Ed Buller (Suede, Pulp, Spiritualized) and have previously toured with or supported The Vaccines, Palma Violets, Public Service Broadcasting, Temples, Drenge, Peace, The Fall, The Charlatans plus many others.
Between 2010 – late 2013 they were WTCHRS (Watchers) and built a solid regional fan base, becoming known as one of the North East of Englands best bands. They took an 11 month break from performing (October 2013 – September 2014) to write new material and hone their sound. This new material caught the ear of Ed Buller who expressed an interest in working with the band, which he did in August 2014 between Brussels and London. The resulting songs showcase Keep Breathings brand of indie influenced pop music and their stadium sized ambitions.
New Material released in May 2015
