Nach jahrelanger Pause ist Aachener Jazz-Sängerin Kat wieder zurück, mit einem frischen Neo-Soul Sound und neuen Einflüssen. Sowohl mit jungen Musikern aus Aachen als auch als Duo mit Tim Bender (Gitarre) wird sie diesen Sommer anfangen, ihr selbst produziertes Debütalbum zu promoten, welches Januar 2023 erscheinen wird. Im Mai veröffentlichte sie dazu die erste Single ihres Albums, "Dear People". Mit ihrem intimen, smoothen Sound kreiert sie eine lässige Lounge Atmosphäre, die sofort für Entspannung und eine einzigartige Stimmung sorgt.

Über Kat
​
Kats musikalischer Einfluss geht zurück bis in ihre Zeit in Texas. Hier kam sie schon als Kind mit Jazz, Blues & Gospel in Kontakt. 2016 kreierte Kat ihren eigenen Neo-Soul­ Sound und veröffentlichte ihre erste EP ,,Solo" komplett in Eigenregie. Dabei spielte sie jedes Instrument selbst ein. Seitdem hat sie kontinuierliche an ihrem Sound gefeilt und ist als Künstlerin über sich hinausgewachsen. Darum hat sie seit einigen Monaten junge Talente aus Aachen mit an Bord, die ihre musikalische Vision noch professioneller umsetzen. Mit ihrem Debütalbum gibt sie jetzt also zum ersten Mal einen Teil ihrer musikalischen Verantwortung ab. Fur ihre Musik bedeutet das einen Quantensprung nach vorn!

After a long break, Aachen jazz singer Kat is back with a fresh neo-soul sound and new influences. Both with young musicians from Aachen and as a duo with Tim Bender (guitar), she started promoting her self-produced debut album this summer, which will be released in March 2023. In May she released the first single from her album, "Dear People". With her intimate, smooth sound, she creates a casual lounge atmosphere that immediately promises relaxation and a very unique atmosphere.

About Kat

Kat's musical influence stretches back to her childhood in Texas. This is where she came into contact with jazz, blues & gospel. In 2016, Kat created her own neo-soul sound and released her first "EP Solo", entirely on her own. She recorded every instrument herself and since then, she has continuously honed her sound and surpassed herself as an artist. For a few months now, young talents from Aachen have been performing with her at live acts, taking her music to an even more professional and high-quality level. With her debut album, she is now relinquishing part of her musical responsibility for the first time. This means a quantum leap forward for her music!
