Inspired by artists such as Burial, Radiohead, Animal Collective and Aphex Twin, Kanzi create an immersive soundscape behind fragile vocals. Crafted in a remote chateau in the French countryside, Kanzi’s introspective second EP, sketches, early summer, sees them again team up with burgeoning Parisian electro label Animal Records, the band’s home since 2014. French heavy-weight publication, Les Inrocks, have called the lead single from sketches, March, "sublime". Alongside significant blog attention, Kanzi have caught the attention of Mercury-Award-winners Alt J, and the NME who claimed “with a delicate falsetto as sweet as this they’ve earned the comparison [with Radiohead]”. Kanzi have played across Europe, sharing the stage with acts such as East India Youth, Emancipator, and Simian Ghost, as well as playing at international festivals including The Great Escape and La Douve Blanche.
