Juan Carmona is one of the best figure of flamenco, compositor and virtuoso guitarist who wanders on the ethereal ways of the duende.
His guitar provides continuity between musical modernity and one of the oldest and most alive flamenco traditions of Andalucia : flamenco of Jerez.
On tour around the world (in the United States, China, Canada) he collaborated with the greatest jazz musicians of our days like Al Di Meola, Larry Coryell, Marcus Miller, Mino Cinelu, Sylvain Luc,...
His last four albums, Orillas, Sinfonía Flamenca, El Sentido del Aire and Alchemya were nominee at the Latin Grammy Awards, category “best album flamenco of the year” in 2003, 2006, 2010 and 2014.
His new album Alchemya (World village/ Harmonia Mundi), is a real musical self-portrait.
