Combining their own musical experiences to establish their own unique material, style and tradition.
Since 2014, Jekyll & Hyde have been playing as a trio, flawlessly reworking traditional tunes and pieces to produce compositions and transform them into evocative and expertly crafted musical journeys. Praised for becoming ‘the new face of contemporary folk music’, They see it as their aim to produce expansive sounds with constant injections of tension and climaxes.
The boys have performed widely, at venues and events up and down the country from Sidmouth Folk Festival in Devon, to Beverley Folk Festival in Yorkshire. As well as having been featured on a number of radio stations such as BBC Somerset with Kitty Macfarlane and as special guests on Sherborne’s own Abbey 104. Following this, alongside the release of their self-titled 5 track EP, Jekyll & Hyde have only just begun.
