James Christy is a Preston singer/songwriter now residing in Manchester, UK.

James’ songs are artfully and meticulously crafted, he combines high octane Pop with hints of Blues, Funk and Rock. Blending the nostalgic with the contemporary. Delivering tight rhythms that make it impossible not to stamp your feet or dance to.

Already this year the band and James have played to sellout crowds at the Castle and Gullivers, Manchester whilst supporting Scruff of the Neck Records band Delemere at Academy 3, Manchester.

Previously James has played all over the country from Cardiff to Edinburgh in front of diverse at numerous festivals and gigs, including Moho Live, Sound Control, Night and Day, Ruby Lounge, 02 Academy in Birmingham, Methusala Festival, Latitude Festival, Landed Festival, Headlander Festival, Apollo Theatre (Shaftesbury Avenue, West End, London) and at the Preston Guild Hall to name just a few.

Live at Castle Rock Studios is James 4th record but the first one to be recorded live in a recording studio. Recorded at Castle Rock Studios in the heart of Cheshire, the EP will feature new songs plus a reworked favourite 'Lifting Me Up’. It is out now on iTunes, Amazon and Spotify.

With gigs lined up at the Deaf Institute, Manchester (plus more TBC), Single Launch and a brand new EP already planned for 2016. Big things are coming…
