Jake McRae and The What a Went Wrongs are a four piece indie pop band from a small town near Burnley.

They have been compared to The Cribs, The libertines and Jamie T. After recording 'White Sofa Songs' the band's first EP in February then releasing it in May, the band decided it was time to start gigging. Since then BBC introducing Lancashire played their track 'No Socialte' for 5 consecutive weeks as well as recording a live set at the mad ferret in Preston. The lads have also played in historic venues such as 'The Castle Hotel' Manchester and have supported Ex Catfish and The Bottleman Guitartist Billy Bibby, plus Inspiral Carpets member and Xfm DJ Clint Boon!
They've spent the last 4 months gigging in Manchester, Liverpool, Blackpool and Preston and have made a big impact in doing so. Check them out here https://soundcloud.com/jakemcraeuk/sets/white-sofa-songs-ep-jake-mcrae
