Island Lights are a band who combine jazz, funk and electronic tones over a heavy heartbeat of soul.

The drums provide a textured foundation to the deep shades of the bass line. Smooth vocals float over warm tones of the guitar as the saxophone colours their jazz-infused sound. Influences include the likes of Bonobo, Allen Stone and Submotion Orchestra.

They toured last year at places like The Southbank Centre, Ronnie Scott's and The Troubadour under their old name, The Remedy. They were lucky enough to get aired on the International Ronnie Scott's Radio Show, made their list of 'Ones to Watch' and featured on NME.com. The band had a great first summer playing at festivals like Noztock, One Love and Victorious Festival and also enjoyed supporting London Afrobeat Collective a lively show in London. The new name brings new music and Island Lights' exciting first single in the Spring. They are known for their crowd-pleasing, high energy performances and are "the best thing since sliced bread" - Suki Waterhouse.

"Cool summer vibes....We urge you to see them live! " - Ian Shaw, Ronnie Scott's

"It’s an eargasmic blend and I could not get enough of it" - Flavourmag
