Kim Wolfgang Frericks is born on 1st June 1989 in Bocholt, a small town in North Rhine-Westphalia. Here, he is known as a student of business administration, who is already working in the business management and is ambitious in his entrepreneurial independence. However, taking a closer look at his easygoing and carefree personality, one can see that behind suit and tie there is a completely different drive – the passion for electronic music.
Aged 13, Kim already started to deal with DJing which, however, due to health-related limitations he had to give up soon. In this stage of his illness, he spent much time on spirituality, belief and the “human-being” – and it was exactly this period which brought some basic changes. His individual character and artistic personality were created during this time of self-realization … Then, in 2009, the starting shot. Locked in his cellar and far away from anything unimportant, he dived into his own world, full of melodic sounds, electronic elements, happiness, emotions and fresh accents. In 2012, by the help of the EMS (Electronic Music School) in Cologne, he turned the expression in his sets into virtuosity. In the same year, he played at regional events such as Hexenhouse, Housekeeper, Siedepunkt.TV and Disko6000. Further gigs were held at Resole, Frohnatur, Tiefenklang (Essen), E-Feld/Azur (Cologne) and on the UNION BEATS FESTIVAL + UNION BOAT SHOWCASE in Zadar/Croatia. Moreover, he presented his skills on the Open Air event Secret Garden (Schermbeck) and at a DJ contest organized by the Federal Youth Counsil of North Rhine-Westphalia. In the next year, he could deepen his knowledge as musician/artist and producer and learn a lot in the area of production.
A sound is being developed, which his protagonist himself can best describe by his own character: “Always moving, continuous change”. He creates emotions by a moving sound. To the electronic music scene, he is still an unknown symphony, which however will soon start to sound louder…
