Soaring Violin. Punching Electronic Beats.
These are the powerful waves that accompany a rich ocean of 4-part harmonies with which the Psychedelic-Pop collective HIPICAT have enchanted the Welsh public, gradually mastering the art of channelling the eclectic sound of a festival in the sun throughout the year.
Within a year of first performing live, Hipicat has progressed from Cardiff clubs to festival main stages inside and outside Wales, consistently capturing audiences imaginations and participation along the way. Having supported the likes of Gulp, Sticky Fingers, BOMBS, The Bronze Medal, and opening the stage for Martha Reeves and the Vandellas and De la Soul, there are no signs of momentum slowing. This fresh, colourful sound sits on the crest of the wave that is the new Cardiff scene.
