NME - ‘Their fuzzed-up dream pop will be infecting melancholic hearts everywhere’ Tom Robinson, BBC 6 Music - ‘This is something really special’ A fuzzy twist on influences from the shoegaze and dream pop scenes of the late 80s and early 90s, High Tide 15:47, from Newcastle-upon-Tyne, UK, have begun to make waves locally since previewing their first demo 'Too Much Time Alone’.

Having spent much of 2013 playing smaller shows in and around the city, 2014 brought them coveted support slots with acts such as The Sonics, Eagulls, Wolf Alice, Speedy Ortiz, The Besnard Lakes and Younghusband.

They were also a popular choice in the voting for this year’s Evolution Emerging Festival which showcases the best new talent from the region.

After much fine-tuning from recording and mixing sessions both in their Ouseburn practice space and with Mick Ross (Minotaurs, ex-Frankie & The Heartstrings), the band are now excited to release their debut, self-titled, EP.

Praise for High Tide 15:47 EP:

NARC - ‘Real ethereal quality alongside enough noise to leave any venue shaking’

Raw Meat - ‘An astonishing effort that will hopefully prove to be a pathway to a great year’

Reviewcaster - ‘This EP further showcases the gorgeous, fuzzed-out textures that have so far epitomised the band’s immaculate blueprint’

NE Volume - ‘This is the kind of sound that would easily be welcomed across venues spanning the UK’

Praise for Shade of Blue single:

Gold Flake Paint: "...the track is a blistering entrance, a murky world that trembles at the seams but feels unbreakable. Built around a sea of swirling guitars, the track is brought to life by the double-edged vocals which breathe amiable warmth in to otherwise inhospitable landscapes. Tumultuous, thrilling and devoted to the primitive world it creates, the track is a captivating first-step."

Sounds Better With Reverb: "It’s a brooding reverb rocker with a stadium built chorus and loads of promise!"

Little Indie Blogs: "...an impressive four-and-a-half minute sonic palette first debut of swirling guitars that revolve around Steven Gordon's understated vocals..."
