Mondegreen are an indie-folk trio from Widnes.
Described as folk-tinged indie pop with “superb delicate harmonies” (Dave Monks, BBC Introducing), the band’s debut EP 'Small Towns', recorded with Rod Jones (Idlewild), was released in March 2017. Follow up EP ‘Change’, also recorded with Jones, was released in May 2018 and hailed as a “beautiful reflection of the group's live sound" (Liverpool Acoustic).
Both EPs have featured on BBC Introducing and BBC Radio 6 Music and have seen the band play alongside Jonah Matranga, Tom Hingley, Wildwood Kin at Folk on the Dock, and Jolie Holland & Samantha Parton at the Liverpool Philharmonic.
