My name is Henry Maybury, I am a young British singer songwriter of 23 years old from the West midlands, whose debut song "Lost Days" was released in September 2014.

The song was written after the death of my brother Tom in 2013. The music video is so powerful that it was nominated for 'Best music video at the 2014 London Independent Film Festival' alongside big artistes such as Rudimental! I also just recently released my new music video 'Your Beautiful' which also deals with another hard hitting story and features acting legend John Challis (Boycie-Only Fools and Horses) and Falklands war hero Simon Weston OBE. Here is the link to the song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-i_HhAZKa4E

My music has been played nationally on BBC Introducing but I have also performed in famous venues such as Durham Cathedral, in front of 8000 people at the Castlefields Arena, Hay Festival and the 02 Indigo in London. I headlined Chichester University Freshers where Harry Potter star Rupert Grint came down with his family and his sister Samantha Grint was my support act. I am in talks with doing a duet with Michael Collings from Britains Got Talent who has one of the most played auditions with 30 million views and went on to play in the final.

Recently I appeared on the ITV Central News as their Top Story and on BBC Midlands Today, having been filmed at a school, telling my story and showing the music videos. I also featured on BBC South, BBC South East, ITV North East, Local Radio Stations all over the UK, and not to mention Free Radio.  I have also recently been interviewed on Radio 5 Live by Dan Walker twice where the telephone calls in response to my music was amazing and inspirational. All the above can be seen on my YouTube Channel and Website (http://www.henrymaybury.com)

Another one of my tracks, 'Great TV' has been played nationally by BBC Introducing on the Mark Forrester Show and has been put forward to radio 1. It has been recognised by celebrities such as Mike Tindall, Olly Barkley and Stevie Ritchie from the X Factor to name but a few. Here is the track: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JBE2hNKIX4Y

I am now travelling round schools in the UK showing my music videos and performing because they are educational, I am not just writing love songs! I have also travelled to Holland and I am going back out there later this year as my trip last time was very successful.

Last year I sent out letters to Prisons all around the UK and the response was fantastic with me receiving bookings all the way through to the end of last year. I toured High security prisons and Young Offenders Institutes all around the UK, performing and talking about the stories behind my songs.
This has already been compared to Johnny Cash's visits in the 1950's, I have attached a photo which was printed in the Scottish papers.

2016 looks like an exciting year with more videos, travelling round lots of schools and potentially more prison visits. I am planning on doing a festival tour through the summer months and recording a brand new E.P.
