"Soaring, cinematic Alt-Rock" Ally McCrae - BBC Introducing "Gloriously atmospheric" Jim Gellatly - Amazing Radio Glasgow's Halo Tora have been busy over the past year notching up support slots with the likes of Jamie Lenman (Reuben) and My Vitriol as well as embarking on their own UK tour and recording their debut album.

In 2015 Halo Tora have started as they mean to go on with headline shows at Glasgows prestigious King Tuts as part of the New Years Revolution and London's Camden Barfly with More Dangerous Animal (ex Brigade). A single release is anticipated in the Spring with the debut album to follow.

Founded in late 2011, and influenced by the likes of Oceansize, Karnivool and Mogwai the band worked relentlessly and meticulously, carefully cultivating and refining the body of work which can be heard in their forthcoming debut album Omni/one. Chris Alexander and Ian McCall enchant listeners with melodically intertwining dual vocals whilst also providing equally complimentary dark, meaty and atmospheric guitar exchanges, with chilling, classical piano sections floating underneath courtesy of Ryan Connery, fat, driving bass delivered by Mark Young and Chris McKeown providing a rigid yet frenetic back-bone of thunderous beats, fills and crashing cymbals. 2015 will be the year of the Tora!
