Halftones are psychedelic, noise, art rock band from Belgrade, that uses everyday gloom and absurdity throughout all the layers of their music and poetry.
They lean on the 80’s new wave that shapes their energetic, yet delicate, playful and unique expression.
Halftones have no rules in their music, they tear them apart and put them together again in each new song and performance. The uniqueness of the band itself lies in the very fact that all members come from different musical origins and rich musical careers. As such, they like to describe themselves as a “creative synthesis and unity in all aspects”.
Halftones were born in 2012. So far, they have made 2 albums and one EP. New EP comes out in September 2017.
Halftones are love, rockets, confetti, drama, unease and glitter.
