GUNASH Short Info

Gunash was born in 2003 from an idea by singer/guitarist Ivano L. Zorgniotti or "Zor" and drummer/percussionist Danilo Abaldo or “Pannico”. Little by little the idea moved towards an alternative rock sound influenced by punk, metal, post-grunge, stoner and prog (Nirvana, Soundgarden, Faith No More, Foo Fighters, Qotsa, Porcupine Tree).
At the end of 2005, Gunash released an album for the Italian Label New LM Records, which was followed by an abundance of live shows and composing new original material.
Since 2008 the line-up has consisted of singer/guitarist Ivano L. Zorgniotti, solid bassist Mauro Ippolito "The Solid" and drummer/percussionist Danilo Abaldo. Occasionally experienced violoncellist Marco Allocco, who played in Pavarotti’s Orchestra, joins the line-up.
In 2012 the second studio album "Same Old Nightmare" is recorded, with 12 original songs featuring Rami Jaffee, keyboardist of Foo Fighters. Rami's recordings at his Fonogenic Studio in Los Angeles help to enrich the sound of Gunash.

In 2014 the album "Same Old Nightmare" is released and distributed by the independent record label Go Down Records, after which Gunash began the "Same Old Nightmare Tour". As part of this, Gunash played at the “Home Festival” in Treviso alongside other international artists. The band are currently plugging their latest album and raising their international profile through a major radio campaign in America.
In 2015 Gunash began an other big Tour through Italy, Spain, Germany and U.S.A. (mention for the date like Headliner at the Whisky a Go Go in West Hollywood) with a strong and powerful show and played also songs of the third new album. Then the Band start to record the third new album at the Fonogenic Studios of Rami Jaffee in Los Angeles with the support of the Go Down Records
