We are an audiovisual collective which focuses on rescuing and spreading the tradition of tropical and Latin-American music, but also on merging them with new rhythms and new trends. Our sessions are characterized by the integration of organic musical instruments such as Colombian gaita, tamboras and djembe, and even typical and native dances mixed up with digital beats. Also, we often also explore new sounds created from the traditional roots with a slight digital touch. All of which is combined with completed projections, previously created according on the place and type of event. On some occasions, we even display an interactive and dynamic live visual show. Guacamayo Tropical brings sounds and images from a little closer from far beyond to make up for these lightless, colorless and tasteless times. We bring hearty, lively rhythms and flood the dance floor with a colorful wave made of love, joy and Cumbia! Our project will surprise everyone because it is composed by multiformed and multicolored elements. Inspired by earthly ancestral trips, they show us a road, an idea and a project aimed at challenging the senses on all fronts, shooting sounds explosively charged with good vibes, light and hope.
