The band combines elements of modern rock and melodic film music. They use genre-typical instruments such as electric guitars, keyboards and drums in combination with strings, brass and traditional ethnic instruments. The results are "catchy refrains and dirty guitar riffs" (according to SPH MusicMasters on Green Beaks, 2015) and sometimes very orchestral songs that are more reminiscent of a film score than a classic rock song. At the age of 17, Green Beaks entered the German finale of the world's largest band competition and convinced the jury with an "impressively conclusive songwriting" (according to the Emergenza Band Contest jury on Green Beaks, 2016). So far, the band released their debut album "Echoes" (2019) and the single "Yang Qin" (2019). Currently they are working on their next studio album, which is expected to be released in summer 2020. On 09.12.2019 the second single "Scars" will be released. It's already available for pre-order on iTunes and Google Play.
