Grand Central are a British rock band , penning raw guitar riffs and soaring choruses , they have been described as “if The Smashing Pumpkins were British” and UK Music website described them as “a rush of teenage-hood aggressively reviving in the veins.

Brothers Cade (vocals) and Ryan Hannan (guitar) released “Take My Hand” , Grand Central`s first single gave the nod to classic American rock and was chosen by Reverbnation / Microsoft for a Windows 7 International marketing campaign. Chosen among 1000 songs around the world, "Take my hand" finished in the top 400 downloads Internationally.

Grand Central then released their 2nd single, “Inside” which was picked up by Chicago based magazine, Inclination, which gave Grand Central American exposure. This was chosen by Microsoft Windows 7 and Reverbnation for the Windows 7 Playlist 7 Campaign which was for the best emerging artists from around the world. At the end of 2010 they released their 3rd single, “My Star” working with Andy (Stereolab) and Tipler (Placebo, Elastica, Charlatans). Grand Central were interviewed and featured in magazines in Argentina and USA, and had their songs played on radio in both countries. Grand Central were Nominated for the "Best New Band" and "Best Live Band" in the ET Awards in the UK.

2011 saw Cade and Ryan working on songs for their debut album, "Platform One". In March 2011 started playing live. In June Cade went To Colombia and was interviewed on Radionica FM and SuperEstacionFM. In September, Grand Central were featured in a 6 page spread in Spanish fashion and music magazine, “The Blonde Magazine “. Grand Central released their 4th single, “Under my skin” in November 2011 and released their debut Album in May 2012. They played in Spain and the UK at the end of 2011 and shortly after filmed their new music video. They have already been interviewed for HARSHTV (UK Fashion blog) and Bleed Music (Colombia) in 2012 and featured on radio in Mexico , Colombia and Japan in the last few months.

In December 2012 they went into the studio to work with Duran Duran guitarist, Dom Brown at Church Row Studios in London, UK to record. They released one of these tracks from the studio session "Promised Land" for free at beginning of 2013. They also featured on Peru radio station Frost Radio in February 2013. The video for “Promised Land” was recorded at “The Joint” studios in London, and was released in April 2013. The band are currently writing new material and have just released their latest single "Hit and run" at the beginning of 2015 with a video to be released shortly after, and are working on new songs to be released in the Spring 2015. They are looking to get some festival dates and international dates for 2016 and 2017
