Gonsofus is a Russian/Hungarian duo currently based in Bratislava, Slovakia.
Using over 10 instruments and live-looping, multi-instrumentalists Sasha Mamaev and Gábor Tokár create a powerful sound they call transcontinental groove. A tight rhythm section, guitar, tasteful horns, and a unique vocal presence, all colored by a hefty dose of carefully crafted electronics -- this is the Gonsofus sound created live by Mamaev and Tokár.
Gonsofus has spent the last 4 years touring Europe and the United States, with more than more than 300 concerts in 15 countries.
