Veszprem Utcazene Fesztivál is not a classy festival, but a real street music festival.
We flood the historical downtown of Veszprem with Music. We invite 30-40 singer songwriters and band from abroad, who play from 6pm until 1am. There are 11 places to play. Many of them are not even a real stage, just a dedicated place to play (we have 2 big stages and a couple of small ones for bands).
The 11 „stages” are running at the same time. Most of the acts arrive here for four days and play at different times, in different places each day.
The required length of the show is 90 minutes.
(before the international acts, 19 Hungarian bands do street music on these „stages” four days long. It's a competition for them, and the winner is awarded.)
It's a lovely festival, our musicians love it and wanna come back every year. The audience is great, the weather is nice the athmosphere is really, really good.
Many friendship and music collaboration are born by the of the festival between the artists.
