He started playing guitar while at junior high school. He attended guitar courses and took private lessons from professional guitarists. He kept on studying acoustic guitar and performed several times, while still a teenager, with his first songs at the “Folkstudio”, famous music club in Rome, where appeared sometimes Bob Dylan and Leonard Cohen, besides some of the future most popular singer-songwriters, like Francesco De Gregori. He kept on writing songs while attending university of Rome “La Sapienza”.
He graduated in Literature and started teaching in public school and writing for some Italian newspapers (Il Messaggero, Il Tempo, Il Gazzettino di Venezia, il Giornale).
He wrote a novel “Mènami, mamma!” (Beat me, mama!), released in 2010. Always keen of aviation, he published in 2012 a book about the Soviet female pilots of WWII. The book was translated in English with the title “Soviet Airwomen of the Great Patriotic War – a pictorial history” and in Czech (in June 2014). In 2013 he took part to an Italian festival for singer-songwriters (Premioufficiale Bertoli 2013) , reaching the final with his song “La Bella Dama senza Pietà” (The Beautiful Lady without Mercy). In July 2014 he performed during the Keynsham Music Festival, rated as one of the “top free events of UK summer”, gathering up to 20 thousands people, with a concert of about 40 minutes. He got the UK Songwriting Music Contest 2014 semifinals with 5 out of 6 songs.
