Gabrielle Murphy is an 18 year old singer-songwriter from Treherbert in the Rhondda Valleys, South Wales.

Since she was 13 years old, she started out singing in the house, quickly graduated to local covers bands and is now resolutely focused on writing her own songs.

Further live performances at Swn Festival, Dinefwr Festival, Focus Festival, Hay Festival and Laugharne Weekend have all paid testament to her talent as a live performer. Gabrielle’s summer was topped off with a support slot to MOBO award winner, Laura Mvula at Brecon Jazz Festival.
Gabrielle very much reflects the natural eclecticism of her generation, encompassing a multitude of genres. You can hear fragments of Led Zeppelin to Marvin Gaye stirred with the melodic nouse of Fleetwood Mac and sass of Rihanna.
Her most recent recording, ‘Lockdown’, is a hit single in waiting, one of the rare occasions where modern R&B glories in its soulful roots in Rhythm and Blues...
