The band formed from a collaboration of music students studying in both Brighton and London and came together based on a shared interest of intricate rhythms and grooves, elaborate chord progressions and flowing melodies. Fresh Like Dexie's signature sound is derived from a palette of Brazilian Latin, Contemporary Hip-Hop and creative Jazz and Soul.

Fresh Like Dexie are known for their energetic, creative and eclectic live shows, highlighted at last years Love Supreme festival and set to play this years Cheltenham Jazz Festival. The band's focus is on delivering exciting new music through artistic conviction, eccentric ideas and a real love for the music they play.
